I started in 2011 with Jamie – the Running Diva Mom—my first couch to 5K. I became addicted to running and continued to train with Jamie to run a ½ marathon. I was then plagued by injury after injury and running fell to the wayside.
This past summer I wanted get back into running—I had started taking classes from A and B Fitness—working on my strength and conditioning. Kally Minter (who I met through Jamie) posted information about her love of Fleet Feet NoBo and FOO training on Facebook (and Jamie, who has become a close and dear friend of mine, was pregnant and not offering any classes at the time). With her encouragement (I was nervous to join Fleet Feet—I do not fit the runner type build and my pace is my own) I joined.
I am so glad I did—best thing ever! I was encouraged, motivated and accepted. With both my training at A and B and the incorporation of strength training at Fleet Feet, I am a better, stronger and injury free runner……did I just type that?!?!? I am a runner! I am currently signed up for the Winter Warriors and FOO 10K training. I think I might just try another ½ marathon next fall.
Everyone that I have met—from Jessica, to the other run groups that meet at FF, the coaches (Sue), the mentors (Kally) and the participants—have been nothing short of wonderful!

No Boundaries is an award winning training program that is designed to motivate, educate, and inspire those to do something they previously thought was impossible - complete a 5K. We do that through our incredible coaches and mentors who have also been participants and know what it takes to be successful.
