10K Training

Our 10K training programs are a great “next step” from our 5K programs. Whether you want to maintain your current fitness level, continually challenge your endurance, or develop a solid foundation in the hopes of training for a future half or full marathon, this is the training program for you! Our 10K programs typically meet 1-2 times a week and incorporate more independence, and new workouts to increase leg strength and efficiently. Our 10K programs will help participants continue to grow in their knowledge of running.

Summer 2018 - 10K Training Program

  • 5K & 10K  Combined Training Program
  • Goal Race:  Zoo Run Run 10K September 30 2018
  • Program Duration:  July 21, 2018 - September 30, 2018
  • Registration Deadline:  Monday July 16, 2018 | Fitvil Online Registration Closed

Fall 2018 – NoBo 2.0 (10K) Training Program

  • 5K/10K Training: Learn to walk/run, re-enter the sport or further your past running goals
  • Goal Race: 5K group = Run Santa Run on Dec. 1, 2018
  • Goal Race: 10K group = Berbee Derby on Nov. 22, 2018
  • Program Duration: Sep.22-Dec. 1, 2018
  • Registration Deadline: Mon. Sep. 17, 2018 | Fitvil Online Registration Closed

Program Schedule: Wed Evening & Saturday Morning
Goal Race: Twilight 10k
Program Fee: Early Bird Registration: $89 (until Feb. 25) Regular Registration: $99 (Feb. 26 – Mar. 11) Late Registration: $109 (Mar. 12 and after)
Description: For those who have successfully completed a 5K and are ready to continue building their endurance. All levels of runners and run/walkers are welcome!
