CUSTOM TRAINING PLANS

Fleet Feet Sports Madison offers several custom training plans for your needs.  These include. 

New Balance No Boundaries- An excellent beginner running program

Destination Marathon & Half Training- A fall/winter training program to get you set to run in a warmer destination in January

Force of Orange- A comprehensive spring training plan for novices and more advanced to run a quarter, half or full marathon in spring

Madison Mini(Half) Marathon Training- A training plan to prepare you to run The Madison Mini Marathon in August

Miler & Mini-Miler In Training- A summer training plan that focuses on shorter faster track running

Triathlon 101- A summer training plan to help you compete more effectively in triathlons


WEDNESDAY NIGHT GROUP RUN OR WALK-FREE

  • Meet at Fleet Feet for a 2 to 5 mile group run or walk at 5:45pm
  • This is low pressure group for those just starting a training program, coming back from an injury, or looking for an easy pace run
  • 2-5 miles run or walk or a combination of both

THURSDAY NIGHT PUB RUN-FREE

  • We  start at or near a local Pub for a 5 mile run followed by food, drink and socializing.
    The runs  start at 6:00pm and are listed approximately one month in advance on our calendar

WEEKEND LONG GROUP RUNS-FREE

  • Various locations around Madison
  • Mileage ranges from 5 to 20
  • The group meets at a different locations.  Please sign up for our FFTraining Yahoo Group, to receive a weekly email on the location of the group runs. Join us for the fun!

Notes:

  • Most runs are led by a Fleet Feet staff member or coach
  • Please sign in and out on the attendance sheet at all runs so we can track your mileage
  • For runs meeting at Fleet Feet Sports please park in the lot adjacent to and behind Klinke Cleaners

FLEET FEET TRAINING GROUP

The Fleet Feet Training group is our "roving" running group. The group typically meets at different locations around the Madison area, unless there is an event.  If you would like some group motivation please join us. There are a variety of pace groups within the larger group and our philosophy is that no runner will be left behind. Sign up for our Yahoo Group email list on the right  and you will receive an email early in the week announcing the time, location and distance of the training runs.  Hope to see you out there!
