VOLUNTEER INFO MEETING:
APRIL 10TH AT 7:30PM AT FLEET FEET SPORTS MADISON
If you love running and would like to share that love with others through volunteering, you are warmly welcomed to the Fleet Feet Volunteer Information Meeting on Weds. April 10th at 7:30pm! Volunteering is a great way for friends and family to get involved in your events and to give back to others who will genuinely appreciate your encouragement as they challenge themselves to achieve new goals.
We’ll be talking about many of the different volunteering opportunities coming up in 2013, including road races like the Madison Half-Marathon in May and the Wisconsin Tri Series by Race Day Events, this summer. Fleet Feet is also coordinating the Run Course Marshal Volunteers for Ironman Wisconsin in September and we will share details on how you can get involved with one of the biggest races in town.
In addition to volunteering at events, there is also the opportunity to participate in an 8-week running club for kids 10-14 years old. Have you ever been a camp counselor? If not, did you ever secretly want to be? Do you enjoy spending time with kids who are discovering the joy of running and helping them reach their goals? You are warmly invited to find out more info about the Summer 2013 Allied Running Club sponsored by Fleet Feet Sports Madison and MSCR. It’s one of the most enjoyable and satisfying things you can do this summer! Check out this link to find out more about the Allied Running Club.
Feel free to email Coach Flo at karen@fleetfeetmadison for more details.
