Much like the 880 from earlier this year, the 860 is all about the upper. Going back to an engineered mesh and added overlays creates a much more desirable upper experience for the foot. A bigger bunion window allows for better accommodation to the wider fore-footed folk. Deeper flex grooves and more hexagonal tread pattern improve durability in the forefoot. All around a softer, lighter 860 than last year, and it stays a run-specialty only shoe!
