Fleet Feet Sports Madison & Sun Prairie wants everyone safe while walking, running, training and enjoying the great outdoors. Unfortunately, we’re aware of situations where runner and walker safety has become a problem.
Fleet Feet’s Coach Susan has again partnered with local law enforcement to offer two free self-defense/awareness classes in March. The class last year was so popular we will hold two identical classes in March.
The one hour classes are designed to make you more aware, prepared and ready for any situation that may occur at any given moment. You will be taught how to avoid an altercation before it happens, as well as what to do in the event of an altercation. Keep in mind altercations can be with people, animals, vehicles and bikes. Demonstrations will be performed showing basic self-defense moves. Attendees will also be able to "test" their own moves!
Coach Susan is facilitating this class with law enforcement and would appreciate receiving a few things from you in advance of the class: (1) Attendees will need to RSVP below as spots are limited for each class. (2) Submit any safety questions before the class in order to help use class time efficiently. You can submit your question(s) on the RSVP link or directly to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Please don't hesitate to contact Susan with any questions or if you'd like to talk with her more about the class.
