Fall 2016 Training Programs

Everyone's favorite season to run - FALL! We're excited to announce our 2016 fall training programs. The goal is set, and now you need some help to get there. We offer group training programs to get you to the starting line. Each program is unique and offers something for everyone and every distance.
No Boundaries 5K Training - Learn to Run
Join Fleet Feet Sports to walk or run your first 5K. This is not a "couch to 5K" program you find in the App Store. No Boundaries is an award winning training program that is designed to motivate, educate, and inspire those to do something they previously thought was impossible - complete a 5K. We do that through our incredible coach's and mentors who have also been participants and know what it takes to be successful.
 
It's not just about completing your first 5K, or committing to the training. It's about changing your mindset, adjusting your lifestyle and becoming the best version of yourself. We offer two No Boundaries programs every year - one in the spring, and one in the fall. 
  • Goal Race:  Jingle Bell Run, December 10, 2016
  • Program Duration: Sept 17, 2016 - December 10, 2016
  • Program Kick-off: Saturday, Sept 17, 2016
  • First Group Run: Wednesday, Sept 21, 2016 @ 6PM
  • Registration Deadline: Monday, Sept 12, 2016
Fall Half & Full Marathon Training Program

Our half and full marathon training programs typically meet twice a week and are designed to prepare runners for their first ever endurance event or to help seasoned runners meet a new performance goal. In addition to detailed training plans, each program incorporates educational components, speakers, weekly email communication, and expert coaching, mentoring, and pacing to help inspire and motivate you along the journey.
 
Those training for another fall half or full marathon are still encouraged to participate. We can help you adjust mileage as needed. Register for the program by July 25, and receive a pre-training plan to help you build prior to the start of the first group run.

SpeedPLAY - Fall Session

Speed work doesn't just make you run faster. It makes you fitter, increases the range of movement in your joints, makes you more comfortable at all speeds, and it will ultimately help you to run harder for longer. These sessions have been carefully designed to be beneficial to those who specialize in any distance and can be utilized by many levels of runners. The 8-week SpeedPLAY Training Program sessions are offered 3x/year and can easily compliment any of our training programs offered throughout the year (5K - full marathon).
