News flash

Due to unfortunate circumstances the lead biker took a wrong turn and created a 2.33 mile course instead of 3.1 miles (5k).  Fortunately the entire race field took the same course.  On a positive side the entire field was able to PR! How many times do you race 2.33 miles?

All Diva Dash participants will have the opportunity to race the true Diva Dash 5k course on Saturday, July 18.  We will be meeting at Quaker Steak and Lube at 8:00am and the run will start at 8:30am. 

*There will be no fee.

We also apologize about the shirts.  It appears as though due to a glitch in active.com many of the shirt sizes requested were sized up.  We are informing active.com in order to resolve the situation for future events.  If you need a different size please contact megans@fleetfeetmadison.com and we will try our hardest to work with you.

About the Diva Dash 5K

The Fleet Feet Sports Madison Diva Dash is a 5 kilometer (3.1 mile) run and a 1 mile kids fun run benefiting Girls on the Run of Dane County, a non-profit program with a mission "to educate and prepare girls for a lifetime of self-respect and healthy living."

Course

The 5k run will start at Quaker Steak and Lube (2259 Deming Way, Middleton) and consists of a flat course that mixes trail and road surfaces.

Cost:
$30 through July 11
$35 on race day, July 12th.
$10 Mini Dash 1 mile (Kids 12 and Under).

First 300 5K participants will receive a New Balance Technical top. Sizes are not guaranteed.

Each Mini Dash participant will receive a cotton t-shirt.

Packet Pick-up: Participants can pick-up race packets on July 11th at Fleet Feet Madison from 11am-5pm. Packet pick-up is also available on race day.
Prizes

Best Dressed Diva! - Participate in our second annual Best Dressed Diva Contest. Guys and gals, don your best diva duds and you could win a prize. Race officials will be on the lookout for the best dressed diva, and will crown her or him after the race. The crowd will get a chance to cheer for the Best Dressed Diva if the race officials need some help.
