Here's how it works: All you have to do is come to Fleet Feet fun runs and log your miles. Once you have logged enough miles during a one year period (January 1 - December 31, 2010), you will receive some great prizes.  Here is the mileage-reward breakdown:

*Please note we reserve the right to substitute prizes if necessary. The Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday/weekend fun runs are eligible. Only those miles run at sanctioned Fleet Feet group runs will be eligible for the Frequent Miler Program, and it will be your responsibility to log your miles on the sign in sheet after each fun run. It doesn't matter how fast you go, as long as you cover the miles, so join us and become a Fleet Feet Frequent Miler! 


tuesday Night Rush Hour Run

  • Meet at Fleet Feet every Tuesday for a group run of 5 miles at 5:45pm, instead of sitting in traffic!

Wednesday Night Run or Walk

  • Meet at Fleet Feet for a 2 to 5 mile group run or walk. at 5:45pm
  • This is low pressure group for those just starting a training program, coming back from an injury, or looking for an easy pace run.
  • 2-5 miles run or walk or a combination of both

Thursday Night Run

  •  Join us for our 5 mile "roving" run every Thursday at 6:00pm
  •   Runs meet at a different location each week.  Please sign up for the FFTraining Yahoo Group, (information below), (registration to the right), to receive a weekly email on the location of the group runs. Join us for the fun!

Sunday Long Run

  • 8am (March-November) 9am (Dec-Feb) - various locations, listed above
  • Mileage ranges from 5 to 20 miles based on what events people are training for and where they are in the training cycle
  • The group meets at a different location each week.  Please sign up for the FFTraining Yahoo Group, information below, registration to the right, to receive a weekly email on the location of the group run. Join us for the fun!

Notes:

  • All runs are led by a Fleet Feet staff member or coach
  • Please sign in and out on the attendance sheet at all runs so we can track your milage
  • For runs meeting at Fleet Feet Sports please park in the lot adjacent to and behind Klinke Cleaners

Fleet Feet Training Group

The Fleet Feet Training group is our "roving" running group. The group typically meets on Thursday evenings at 6:00pm (the Thursday Night Run) and Sunday mornings at 8:00am (March-November) or 9:00am (December-February) at different locations around the Madison area, unless there is an event.

If you would like some group motivation please join us. There are a variety of pace groups within the larger group and our philosopy is that no runner will be left behind. Just sign up for our Yahoo Group email list on the right  and you will receive an email early in the week announcing the time, location and distance of the training runs. Hope to see you out there!
